This tool lets you quickly subnet IPv4 networks, visualise them, and split or join them with a single click. It also shows the address range, subnet mask, and number of hosts for each subnet. You can save and load your arrangement using bookmarks.

Access the Visual Subnet Calculator.

This was written in 2002, though I still use it constantly. One day I intend to make an equivalent for IPv6.

Update 20/9/2017 - the source is now on GitHub under the zlib license.

Thanks for creating this calculator. I didn't see any restrictions on use of the code so I put in a line attributing the original code to you. I did some minor modifications like embedding the images into the page so I could easily use it from a SharePoint site.

Seriously, thank you. You made something I do all the time easier and for that, you have my appreciation. If you ever consider feature requests, adding another column for a text label would be handy, but it's already great.

Hello David,

Following footstep of murisonc and have added additional features on top on your calculator be able to manage the subnets usage, which also providing the credit, acknowledgement, link and state it was developed based on your original source code.

Fantastic tool and well done!

P.S.: Do let me know if you prefer not to reuse your source code.
